About Dr. Marini
Dr. Marini is a Board-Certified General Surgeon and Breast Surgical Oncologist.
She completed her medical school at McGill University, followed by a General Surgery Residency at the University of Toronto. During this time, she also completed a PhD studying the molecular mechanisms of triple negative breast cancer as part of the Surgeon Scientist Training Program. She further specialized in the treatment of breast cancer and graduated from an SSO-accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toronto.
She has won several research awards, as well as resident and medical student teaching awards. She was awarded the Resident Leadership Award, and was the valedictorian of her graduating General Surgery Residency class.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Clinical approach
Dr. Marini takes pride in the most up to date and comprehensive management of patients. Her mission is to provide high quality care to breast and general surgery patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Specialty focus
We accept referrals for breast disorders and suspected malignancies, melanoma, and general surgery conditions (gallbladder, hernias, lumps and bumps). We also offer endoscopic evaluation of patients (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) in a timely fashion.
